I don't have a whole lot to say about it other than I wanted to break 8:00
minute miles, and ended up breaking 7:40 miles.

The sad part is, my time today was about 30 seconds per mile slower than I
was at this race last year.

I was a little tired before the race, I don't know why, but I decided I just
try to hang on and not beat too many people.

Two years ago, I passed a person right before my cell phone started ringing.
This year I didn't carry the cell phone but, at the same turn, I looked
behind me and the same person I passed two years ago was right behind me.

He ended up at least 6 people or more in front of me and I just didn't have
it in me.  Then, from out of the blue, I just started running like mad and
passed a bunch of people.

I ended up where I could have finished in front of the person I wanted to
beat, but I was happy just to finish right behind him.

It was a fun race with a great ending, but man do I have a ways to go to get
back to where I was.
